Totalitarian societies and ‘hypernormalisation’
There are countless cctv videos from China where someone has been hit by traffic and dies alone on the side of the road. These episodes do not occur on dark country roads, but in busy cities. People witness the accidents, see people get mowed down, and step over and around the mangled bodies of their fellow citizens. No one renders aid. No one calls the police. During the Soviet Ukrainian Holodomor, emaciated citizens dropped in the streets from hunger. Again, people walked around the dead and dying as if they were piles of trash. In Ukraine, people also cannibalised children.
The depravity of hyper-individualism is the terminal state of totalitarian regimes. When a totalitarian state operates in a power vacuum, citizens become hyper-individualist in order to survive. Christian chivalry is gone, the social compact is gone, humanity is gone. Leading up to (and including) that point is a period of ‘hypernormalisation’ which is occurring right now in Australia.
Russian writer Alexei Yurchak coined the phrase ‘hypernormalisation’ in Everything was Forever, Until it was No More: The Last Soviet Generation (2006). In the 1970s-80s, Soviets knew their system was failing, but no one could imagine anything different to the status quo. Hypernormalisation causes everyone in society to maintain the ‘pretense of a functioning society’ even as it is completely falling apart. This is a paradoxical state that becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, where everyone just accepts that the false reality is real. Or as Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn said in The Gulag Archipelago “We know they are lying, they know they are lying, they know we know they are lying, we know they know we know they are lying, but they are still lying.”
Australia is on the path to no return
Right now, the unvaccinated (and increasingly, many vaccinated) are experiencing hypernormalisation of the broken social compact in Australia. We are watching in horror as they continue to lie. About the excess deaths, the hospital protocols, the origins of covid, banning early treatment, performing gain of function research, locking us down, locking away remote Aboriginal communities, killing us. Recently the TGA was shown to have covered up the deaths of children from the covid vaccine:
The fact that people are not in prison for this is evidence that we are seeing hypernormalisation in action. In fact, they are still pushing the lie that it was ‘for the greater good’ which, incidentally, is one of the greatest lies ever told and a favourite of scared totalitarians masquerading as democratically elected leaders. If the state murders your child and you take the hush money, if you do not speak out, if you still think it was ‘for the best’ you are a slave and that is not normal. It is not normal to have zero survival instinct.
If walking around dead citizens in the street is the terminus of totalitarian societies, and Australia is in a state of hypernormalisation, how bad is this going to get? Every day I think about people like Dieter Brummer, a well-known Australian actor who suicided due to the stress of lockdowns. I also think about the man in Melbourne who was in so much distress that he self-immolated in an act of sheer desperation against Premier Dan Andrews’ vaccine mandates. In the case of the Victorian man, people rushed to his aid. I wonder if that would have happened if the lockdowns were ongoing in 2023. Would people have just stepped around him?
Realising that the majority of my fellow Australians would turn a blind eye if I were to be disappeared in a camp or removed for force injection (which is legal under the WA Health Act 2016 and iterations) has been the most devastating blow of my lifetime. Even more devastating is the realisation that many of them would actively participate or cheer on my death:
Government will always be stupid, corrupt, and morally bankrupt, but the feeling that you are utterly alone in society is the most chilling experience I have ever had. A mob of terrified people is capable of anything, and if they are told that their brutality is “for the greater good” that thin veneer of civilisation will crack open wide enough to swallow you whole.
The irony of this situation is that we expect the perpetrators (government) to also solve the problem. This will not happen. While it is easy to give in to despair, rage, or just totally check out, those of us who are providing leadership cannot afford to do that. We are the heroes we have been looking for, and that is why they are attacking us. We must be over the target.

In Australia, they are managing to put things through legislation so quietly that no one notices. Ivermectin is legislatively banned in Victoria. No one, no media, questions it. The majority Labour states are pushing things through yet no one, no media, not even Sky news says squat. It’s Canada under Trudeau, but so much worse. You want to see what’s potentially happening in you world, look no further than Australia. It’s occurring right in front of everyone’s eyes, and no one is saying shit.
Dear friend, no different across the ditch in New Zealand, although unlike Australia and Canada who have not reported all of 2022, (only up to week 38 and week 34 respectively), the excess mortality data is available until end 2022 (oecd.stat).
Both countries and their many institutions, their health professionals and their media are now untrusted WEF acolytes. It may yet be quite awhile before a sufficient number of folk awaken.
